Update on Eliade and fascism

    Thanks for the posts and comments. As you know, Jonathan Z. Smith recently died. Smith, apparently, appreciated Eliade. How does that fit?

    That's a good question, but I don't know the answer to it. I haven't looked to see if Smith published anything about Eliade's views.

    J. Z. Smith wrote an Introduction to the 2005 edition of Eliade's Myth of the Eternal Return, pages ix-xxi (in part readable at amazon).
