Much has been written about the warm personal relationship between the two friends, ex-governor Mitt Romney, the Republican candidate for the presidency of the United States, and Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel. Today it has become clear that the two are more than just friends. Romney apparently accepts instructions from Netanyahu who succeeded in getting him to cancel a scheduled and meticulously planned meeting with MK Shelly Yacimovich, the leader of the Labor party.

Since their long-term relationship has always been one-way (Bibi admits not remembering Willard, while Willard keeps declaring Bibi is an "old friend"), did you expect The Bottom to do anything else?
ReplyDeleteOne of Nachum's guests on JMintheAM on Friday was claiming that Jews believe Obama has been bad for Israel and that there will be a 10-15% shift (at least) in the Jewish vote to Romney this year.
I suspect those Adelsonized voters will take that as good news.
Well, the latest poll I've read about American Jewish voters has them supporting Obama at 64%, in contrast to the 78% in 2008 - a June 8 poll from Gallup (http://www.gallup.com/poll/155111/mormons-widely-favor-romney-jewish-voters-back-obama.aspx). 29% support Romney in this poll. I think I read a more recent poll that had Obama at 68%, but I can't find a link to it.
